Lynn Woodman Hawxhurst, LMT, CLT, A-OB

Lynn Hawxhurst is the founder and owner of Lymphatic Healing.  She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Connecticut and New York in private practice for over 22 years.  She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist who trained with Michael Alatriste, Clinical Director of the Lymphedema Alliance of New York and founder and creator of the Alatriste Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphedema Therapies (TAM) and Liz Olivas, founder of The Therapeutic Alternative in Boca Raton, FL.  Lynn is an Instructor in TAM at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in NYC, teaching massage professionals.  In addition, she is an associate practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy®, studying with Rosa Rodriguez, Gary Lee Williams, Ursula Hofer, and Morel Stackhouse.

During her years practicing deep tissue massage, Lynn sought out forms of therapy that effectively and gently relieved pain, tension, stress, acute and chronic conditions without inducing pain or trauma for both the giver and the receiver.  She studied various forms of therapeutic bodywork including perinatal massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki and Reflexology.   With Lymphatic Drainage and Ortho-Bionomy® she has found a combination that utilizes the gentlest touch to invoke the most potent results.
